Protection packages

Your maximum damage liability is the most you may need to pay for damage included in your selected protection package, as long as you follow the General Rental Terms and Conditions. The amount depends on the vehicle category and the protection package you choose.

CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) provides protection for damage to the rental vehicle, with an agreed maximum amount you may be responsible for. This amount varies by vehicle category.

TP (Theft Protection) provides protection if the rental vehicle is stolen, with an agreed maximum amount you may be responsible for in the event of theft. This amount varies by vehicle category.

Yes. CDW and TP are always included in the rental price.

CDR (Collision Damage Reduction) is optional additional protection that reduces your maximum damage liability for an extra fee according to the current price list. The reduced amount depends on the vehicle category.

CDR does not cover damage to or loss of tyres, wheels and wheel covers, the vehicle underbody, the interior unless it was damaged in an accident, vehicle glass or damage without a police report. If any damage occurs, you must still contact the police and Last Minute Rent a Car.

SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) is optional additional protection that reduces your damage liability to EUR 0.00 for an extra fee according to the current price list. This applies as long as you follow all General Rental Terms and Conditions.

SCDW does not cover damage to or loss of tyres, wheels and wheel covers, the vehicle underbody, the interior unless it was damaged in an accident, vehicle glass or damage without a police report. If any damage occurs, you must still contact the police and Last Minute Rent a Car.

WUG is optional additional protection that, under the agreed conditions, removes your liability for the cost of damage to or loss of tyres, wheels and wheel covers, the vehicle underbody and vehicle glass.

WUG does not remove your obligation to contact the police and Last Minute Rent a Car if the vehicle is damaged.

BASIC PROTECT includes CDW and TP, with damage liability up to the full agreed amount. To benefit from the selected protection, you must follow the General Rental Terms and Conditions.

SMART PROTECT includes CDW, TP, CDR and WUG and reduces your maximum damage liability. To benefit from the selected protection, you must follow the General Rental Terms and Conditions.

PREMIUM PROTECT includes CDW, TP, SCDW and WUG and reduces your damage liability to EUR 0.00. To benefit from the selected protection, you must follow the General Rental Terms and Conditions.

With BASIC PROTECT, the maximum damage liability depends on the booked vehicle category and ranges from EUR 850.00 to EUR 4,000.00. The exact amount for your selected category is clearly shown when you choose a protection package during booking.

With SMART PROTECT, the maximum damage liability depends on the booked vehicle category and ranges from EUR 400.00 to EUR 1,500.00. The exact amount for your selected category is clearly shown when you choose a protection package during booking.
