Reservations

You can request a change or cancellation by email. A change includes updating the name of the main renter or changing the rental start and/or end date.

If you cancel more than 5 days before the scheduled pick-up date and time, no cancellation fee applies and any amount already paid for the reservation will be refunded.

If you cancel 5 days or fewer before the scheduled pick-up time, a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total reservation value will apply. The same fee applies if you do not collect the reserved vehicle or cancel after the scheduled pick-up time.

If you booked through an agency, please ask the agency to make any changes or cancellations for you.

Yes. Unlimited mileage is included unless the terms of a specific special offer clearly state otherwise.

Yes. If you have a confirmed after-hours pick-up, a member of our team will be there to hand over the vehicle. An additional after-hours fee applies according to the current price list.

Please enter the correct flight number when booking. Without valid flight details, we may be unable to confirm or hold an after-hours pick-up.

Not necessarily. We use a same-to-same fuel policy, so please return the vehicle with the same fuel level it had at pick-up. If you return it with more fuel, we cannot refund the difference.

Yes. More than one driver can be listed in the rental agreement. At pick-up, every driver must show a valid driving licence and an ID card or passport and meet the rental requirements.

Only drivers listed in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle. If someone who is not listed drives the car, the agreed rental conditions and protection packages will not apply, and the main renter will be responsible for any related costs.

Yes, but you need approval from Last Minute Rent a Car before taking the vehicle outside Croatia. Please tell us when arranging your rental if you plan to cross the border.

Once approved, the Cross Border permission must be recorded in your rental agreement, and a fee applies according to the current price list. Your selected protection package remains valid outside Croatia only when the trip has been approved. If you cross the border without notifying us and receiving approval, the Cross Border fee may be charged afterwards.

You may not take the rental vehicle to Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Russia.

Yes, but you need to tell Last Minute Rent a Car in advance if you plan to use a ferry, visit a Croatian island or travel through Neum in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A Ferry/Island/Transit (FIT) fee may apply according to the current price list. If you use the vehicle on a ferry, on a Croatian island or through Neum without arranging FIT permission in advance, the FIT fee may be charged afterwards. In that case, the protection included in your rental agreement will not apply.

Your booking normally confirms a vehicle category rather than a specific make and model. The vehicle shown is an example from the selected category. If the displayed model is unavailable, we will provide a vehicle from the same or a higher category, subject to availability and the rental conditions.

Yes. Pets are welcome, but they must travel in a suitable carrier or another safe pet restraint. If pet hair, odours or other dirt remain in the vehicle, a professional cleaning fee may apply. Any damage will be charged in line with the General Rental Terms and Conditions and the current price list.
